Maps and Data

For detailed information on all monitoring sites including historical data and photographs, please visit the Goulburn Broken Catchment Mapping Site by clicking on the mapping link at right.

Water Testing

Goulburn Broken Waterwatch helps the community to monitor water quality in their local stream or waterbody. The program provides water testing gear to interested people and trains them to use that equipment correctly.

To ensure that the Waterwatch Program produces the best possible data, all monitoring conforms to the procedures laid down in the:

Goulburn Broken Data Confidence Plan (266kb)

Information about each testing parameter and using Waterwatch equipment can be found by clicking on the parameter menu at left.

Data Interpretation

An explanation of what your data means as far as the health of your local waterway is concerned can be found in the Waterwatch Victoria Data Interpretation Manual. This manual helps to make sense of your data.

Water Quality Reports

Comprehensive reports are produced for major sub-catchments in the Goulburn Broken that are available for download from this website. The reports are updated each year and include data dating back to 1995 for some sites.

Poster reports are also available for selected sub-catchments.
